The 83,768 sq. ft. Middleburg Heights Community Center is a state-of-the-art recreation, fitness, and aquatic complex, providing residents with a family friendly environment for exercise and social activities.
Counsilman-Hunsaker was selected to design the indoor and outdoor pools. Design components of the 6,147 sq. ft. indoor leisure pool include:
•ADA-accessible zero-depth entry
•Fitness lap lanes
•Waterslide
•Current channel
•Interactive aquatic play features
•79 sq. ft. whirlpool spa
The 5,480 sq. ft. outdoor pool also houses numerous state-of-the-art amenities including:
•ADA-accessible zero-depth entry
•Waterslide
•Vortex
•Interactive aquatic play features
In addition to the community center’s aquatic facilities, other programming spaces include a fitness center, group exercise studios, track, multi-purpose gymnasium, meeting rooms, and office space.
